Joel and Valeria got married early this summer at the incredibly beautiful Aspen Historical Society. This was a traditional Jewish wedding which was full of culture and rituals. There’s something really special about carrying marriage traditions down through the generations in my opinion. After the wedding we sauntered up to the Maroon Bells for our portrait session and even made a little time to do some portraits down at the John Denver Sanctuary. With places that beautiful to do photos it makes my job easy.
Valeria, the bride to be, represented Germany in the Miss Universe competition in 2011. Needless to say it was pretty easy doing photos with her and the groom, Joel. It’s not too often I get people that are so used to being in front of the camera so we took full advantage of that in our mission to create beautiful and timeless images.
There was a political giant at the wedding as well, which in turn led Politico to pick up the story. Never been published in a political blog before so that was kinda fun…
I feel lucky and honored to have gotten the opportunity to spend an entire day with Joel and Valeria. We had perfect weather, and great people. What else can you ask for?
