This was a huge project. Not only did I get my first big gig with JAS, I had the freedom to shoot it however I wanted. With this many people in one place it got overwhelming at times but I really enjoyed the challenge.

Capturing the essence of the party is my job. The moments to remember at any festival aren’t exactly what the band is doing. It’s what everyone else is doing. So I zoned in on that aspect and put my full attention the crowd.

Full access to the V.I.P. section allowed me to get in close to the band as well. From there I made my way through the crowd to get as many, party your face off, pics as I could. This was an exhausting project, and I am really happy with the way the pictures came out.
